Last month, we looked at some of the most common problems with office life and offered a few suggestions on how to fix said problems. But, as you’ve probably realised by now, the stream of day-to-day issues that crop up during the working week can seem never-ending.
Because of this, we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to provide all manner of office solutions. Below are some more that our clients find most helpful.
Staying up to date
How often do you find yourself unable to perform simple tasks because your company’s software doesn’t have the latest updates? It’s a ridiculous problem to have in this day and age, yet it’s one that affects a stifles a surprising number of employees. And even if it’s not a problem you run into often, there’s nothing more frustrating than when you do.
To make sure you don’t suffer this frustration with any of our products, we provide access to complete resource centres for all our brands, including Sharp, Canon and PaperCut. And, for any problem a simple update can’t solve, our support team are always happy to help.
Not enough handouts
When facing a meeting or presentation with an important group of clients or… cue dramatic music… your own superiors, the last thing you want is to be short of handouts and/or visual aids. For that reason, more and more companies are starting to invest in audio-visual solutions.
As well as saving you the trouble of printing out a dozen or more of the same document, devices such as projectors and interactive touchscreen displays will also allow you to incorporate videos and other engaging content into your presentations, making it much easier to hold the attention of your audience.
Not GDPR compliant
Just when you thought you’d heard the last of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), here we come to serve you a grim reminder. Maybe you’ve got all bases covered regarding data protection. However, one thing you may have overlooked is your office printer.
We’ve already warned of this potential legal breach, but we’ll go over things again just in case you didn’t get the memo. Essentially, an unsecured printer is as vulnerable to cyber criminals as an unsecured laptop or desktop computer. It’s for this reason that we offer free full device audits to identify any holes in your printer setup.
Being environmentally friendly
In a time when we’re consuming more resources than ever before, businesses are under increasing pressure to demonstrate environmental awareness. As such, not having the right facilities could give a bad impression or even land you in some fairly serious legal trouble. As well as being an eco-friendly, ISO14001-accredited company, we also try to help other businesses as best we can by providing services like toner recycling.
